Statement:

Nobody Steals the Sky examines the modern apartheid practice of constructing walls
intended to segregate people based on nationality, religion and/or class and the pernicious erosion of human rights these barricades facilitate.
This heinous practice has flourished as a military strategy in the last hundred years. The paintings evolved from the ordinary view of people who suddenly find their everyday lives violated by these fortifications of discrimination.
